st barths full day

Our St. Barts adventure begins at 9 o’clock. From the marina, we head straight to the beautiful island of St. Barts and its charming capital, Gustavia. The boat ride takes about an hour in total.

Before reaching St. Barts, we make a short stop at the small island of Île Fourchue, about 45 minutes away. It’s a perfect spot for a quick swim or to stretch your legs before we continue the final 15-minute run to St. Barts.

Upon arrival in Gustavia, we’ll disembark near the Gendarmerie, where you’ll have your passports stamped. As soon as you step out of their office, you’re right in the heart of town. You’ll have about an hour to explore — enjoy a coffee at a local café, browse the boutiques, or simply stroll through the picturesque streets.

After exploring Gustavia, we’ll continue our trip to Shell Beach — famous for its shoreline made entirely of seashells instead of sand. We’ll anchor in slightly deeper water, providing a safe and beautiful area for snorkeling. This spot offers a wonderful opportunity to see and even swim with sea turtles, as well as colorful tropical fish. While you’re enjoying the water, we’ll serve our delicious homemade guacamole dip on board.

For those feeling adventurous, there’s also the chance to jump off a nearby cliff into the clear blue sea — a favorite with our younger guests!

Next, we’ll cruise to Governor Beach, where you can relax or take a leisurely walk along the pristine shoreline. From there, we’ll visit Saline Beach for another great snorkeling session over vibrant coral reefs. Here, you’ll also enjoy our elaborate onboard lunch, featuring homemade fruit salad, pasta salad, and freshly made sandwiches. Vegetarian options are always available upon request.

Weather permitting, we’ll then make our way around the island to St. Jean, home of the famous airport beach — where you can watch planes land just overhead. We’ll anchor for a refreshing swim and, if conditions allow, do a bit more snorkeling where you might spot sea turtles gliding gracefully through the water.

When it’s time to head back, we’ll make the return journey straight to St. Martin, wrapping up an unforgettable day of sun, sea, and island beauty.
